Spring Dance Concert! Celebration!

At Festival Dance Academy we’re preparing for our Spring Concert titled, Celebration! Recital time is a special time for your child. Each student is allowed to shine in wonderfully organized, tastefully costumed, and charmingly age appropriate dance pieces - choreographed by theirnbsp;instructor to bring out the best in each student!

We provide recitals to give our students a complete dance education, including performance experience on a professional stage. Recitals are an important part of developing confident dancers.nbsp; Each class performs a piece that is designed specifically for their age and abilities.nbsp; All of our students go on stage with confidence that they have the technical ability to perform the choreography.nbsp; In addition,nbsp;you, the parent,nbsp;will be confident thatnbsp;your child will be dressed in a costumenbsp;and executing dance moves thatnbsp;are fun, tasteful, and age appropriate.

A $25 Recital Fee is due now for each student for each course. For example, if one student is enrolled in both Ballet 1 and Jazznbsp;1 - the fee is $50. The whole Recital Fee covers expenses related to back stage management, floor moving, tech, music, digital video amp; audio recording, facility rental, costumes (buying, making, cleaning), a costumer, a seamstress, and lighting amp; theater crew. We could not provide a quality recital experience for your child without this fee. It is extremely important that you pay your fee on time to ensure you child’s participation in the recital.

If you are signed up for Automatic Checking Withdrawal, your recital fee has already been paid.

We DO NOT charge admission to the spring concert and you will not be asked to buy a costume for your dancer.nbsp; The Spring Concert is free.

Recital Dates:

  • Moscow Academy-Saturday, May 12th, 7:30pmnbsp; Hartung Theatre

Rehearsal Dates:

  • The Moscow recital will rehearse beginning at 8:00 am on Saturday the 12th. Each class has a 10 minute rehearsal time.nbsp; Your specific rehearsal times will be sent to you at a later date.

Festival Dance Academy holds itself to a high standard of quality and professionalism. We appreciate your decision to trust us with the dance education of your children. Thank you for making Festival Dance Academy your choice for dance instruction!nbsp;

Yours in dance,
Cindy Barnhart
