Get involved now

Festival Dance and Performing Arts Association invite you to join us as we continue our efforts to “bring the arts to the people and people to the arts” of our community. Our Mission includes maintaining a dance academy dedicated to exceptional quality and bringing professional performing artists to our area. This is a complex and challenging task and we need your assistance to ensure that we not only provide outstanding performances and Youthreach programs but that we support our local youth as they grow in the art of dance.

Who contributes to FDPA?

FDPA is funded by community minded individuals like yourself, the Idaho Commission on the Arts, the Latah County Community Foundation, the Myron Schreck Family Foundation, The National Endowment for the Arts, the New England Foundation for the Arts, , the Washington State Arts Commission, and the Western States Arts Federation, in addition to other community businesses & organizations.

Why should you give to Festival Dance?

Some of the best things in life take time, tenacity and money, and this includes the arts! We are truly a nonprofit organization! The arts all across the nation are struggling and we at Festival Dance are no exception. FDPA writes a number of grants, partners with corporate sponsors and works efficiently so that we can pay salaries, artist fees, venue and technical costs, publicity, insurance, etc., while still keeping ticket prices for those events and class fees affordable and offering free arts programs to all the schools in the region. Each year we turn to people like you who care about the arts, our youth, and the quality of life to help cover costs.

If you believe that performing arts are important and vital to enhancing the quality of life of residents in our region, please contribution.

We appreciate you and your support!

 Adopt-a-Dancer

Festival Dance strives to provide excellent dance education to those interested in learning the discipline of dance. We have small class sizes, professional teachers, and place emphasis on technique and safety. Our dance students are some of the most confident, happiest, well-trained dancers you will find.

We have a few families that are struggling to pay tuition for their young dancer due to COVID-19 and the economic downturn, loss of job, or family illness. If you are interested in our Adopt-a-Dancer Program, please give us a call. We will confidentially discuss the options with you. Help a dancer continue their education by adopting a dancer for as little as $40 per month. You can make a huge difference!
